Slieve Bloom Mountain Biking
The Slieve Bloom Mountain Bike trails are some of the best trails in the Country. There is enough trails so that You can spend 2 days biking the trails without repeating yourself. Maps of the trailhead can be found in the centre of village of Kinnitty. The track single trail itself is just 1 km from Ardmore Country House Bed and Breakfast. It can be accessed at the entrance to the woods just past the GAA pitch on the R422 towards Kinnitty Castle.
We have been preparing for this for a long time here at Ardmore Country House B&B so that we can provide mountain bikers with all their needs. We have upgraded our facilities to include a bike wash, a secure lock up store and a drying room. If you haven’t your own bike you can book on line through Mid Ireland Adventure who also offering half and full day mountain bike rentals from Kinnitty village. Your bike will be here for you at Ardmore Country House. You can try out their new mountain bike trail on board a 27.5 or 29er hardtail MTB. All their rentals includes the mandatory helmet
