The house is in a pleasant village and was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Being in the centre of Ireland is convenient for visiting. The area had some nice places to visit locally as well. We had a nice welcome.

Home met our expectations. Cute and walkable town close to Kinnity Castle.

Idéalement situé au centre de l'Irlande ce logement a satisfait nos attentes.Christina est accueillante et a été réactive à nos demandes.Christina nous a proposé d'assister à une session irlandaise dans un pub à Birr. Etant elle même musicienne ce fut un moment de pur bonheur. Je recommande vraiment ce logement et sa tranquillité.

This experience was wonderful for our family. Spending time at Chris' home in Kinnitty really was everything we could have hoped for. A wonderful cottage within a warm and friendly community. Chris was both responsive and gracious during our time - and a wonderful host. If you're looking for a long-term (or any term) place to see and experience all of Ireland then this is the place to be!

We had such an incredible stay at Chris's home in Kinnitty! The location was perfect for hiking in the Sieve Bloom mountains, the home was very comfortable and exactly what our small family needed, and Chris was wonderful to chat with and always ready to help us learn how to pronounce an Irish word or phrase. My 3 year old especially loved running through the fields and the nearby playground, I really enjoyed cooking and baking in the kitchen and my partner loved driving on the country roads. I can't say enough great things about our stay- given the opportunity, we'd happily move into this home permanently!

This cottage was lovely! It was right in the middle of Ireland, so we were able to go on adventures in a different direction every day! Our favourites were Roscrea, Galway, Kilkenny, Birr and Tullamore. The kitchen made it convenient to have meals at home, saving a bit of money and also when we were too tired to go out again after a busy day. Not being from Ireland, there were a few things we needed help figuring out at the cottage, but Chris was super helpful and helped us quickly.

Niedliches kleines Cottage. Kein TV aber WLAN vorhanden. Es gibt zwei Pubs im Ort, einen kleinen Laden zur Selbstversorgung und ein kleiner Laden mit Kuchen und warmen Snacks.

Lovely cottage in a great location! Lovely little cottage in a great location.Plenty to see and do within an hours drive.The Slieve Bloom mountains and the Glenbarrow waterfall were a highlight and a must see.Giltraps pub was a great find as a watering hole as was Peavoys cafe for a coffee.The village animals 2 cats and a dog were both comical and friendly.Highly recommend a stay in Chris’ cottage in the heart of the underrated midlands of Eire.We will be back!

Christina’s Cosy Cottage is situated in the pleasant village of Kinnitty, close to the lovely Slieve Bloom mountains. Some walks can be done directly from the cottage whilst others require some driving. Christina contacted me frequently prior to my arrival and messaged me when the cottage was ready, which was much appreciated as I had arrived in Kinnitty early. I enjoyed my stay here and so did my dog Kaz, although there are very few places where you can let dogs off the lead. Very quiet at night and I slept well in a very comfortable bed! There is no TV, but this was not a problem as there is reliable WiFi and anything I wanted to watch I could watch on iPad. Overall, a very pleasant holiday; the time flew which says it all!

Lovely and peaceful place surrounded by a quiet and beautiful environment. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend it. Chris was very nice and respectful, making us feel right at home. The house itself is very comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
