29th Annual Slieve Bloom Walking Festival

April 29th to May 2nd  2022

3 days of great walks, enjoy the outdoors and have fun in the wild and wonderful Slieve Bloom Mountains. relax and enjoy connecting with friends in a local pub later.  Festival walks start at two locations  Kinnitty and Clonaslee. and usually start  from 10.15am depending on which grade walk you choose. The festival programme will not be announced until January 2022.


€20.00 walking registration for the weekend or €8.00 per walk.

Entertainment includes Walkers BBQ on one evening.

Ardmore Country House in Kinnitty is located 10 minutes walk from the Slieve Bloom Way and the looped walks at Kinnitty forest. There are many walking trails nearby including the Knockbarron Eco trail, Glenafelly Eco Trail and 3 looped Slieve Bloom Walking trails of 1 to 3 hours. A heated drying room is available for use as well as walking maps. Chris your host is an experienced walker and has a very good knowledge of the trails in the Slieve Blooms.
